Transforming traffic control boxes with new art

by The 100 Companies

If you work in downtown Tallahassee, chances are you have walked by the large taupe-colored traffic control box on the corner of East College Ave. and Monroe St. countless times. Chances are even greater that you have never noticed it – and that is how it is supposed to be – until now.

In a unique new art project called “Art of the Box,” the City of Tallahassee and the Knight Creative Communities Institute (KCCI) have partnered to beautify otherwise drab traffic control boxes and highlight the talent of local artists.

Use this map to find all six art projects around Tallahassee.
