Daylight Savings has come to an end, and the time has come for us all to “fall back.” On Sunday, Nov. 1, we will gain one hour to our day until we “spring forward” on Sunday, March 14.
Although it is widely assumed that this practice of adjusting our clocks was put in place to benefit farmers, this is actually a myth. Farmers were among the most stubborn groups of people to adopt the concept in 1918 because their early morning routines were now taking place in the dark.
