A date which will live in infamy

by The 100 Companies

Each year on Dec. 7, survivors, veterans and visitors come together in O’ahu to honor the 2,390 American lives lost on “a date which will live in infamy,” the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

The ceremony will begin at 7:50AM HST with a moment of silence at 7:55AM, the exact time the attack started and changed the course of history 79 years ago.

The theme of this year’s National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Commemoration will be “Above and Beyond the Call.” You can watch the official event hosted by the National Parks Service from home through a live stream.
