Celebrating World Chocolate Day

by The 100 Companies

I know, I know, EVERY day should be chocolate day (and for some of us it is), but our cocoa-loving friends from across the globe have designated Wed., July 7 as ‘World Chocolate Day.’

What began in 1641 as North America receiving its first chocolate shipment from a Spanish vessel on what is now the coast of Florida, it wasn’t until 2009 that it earned its official day.

A healthy treat (work with me here) chock full of antioxidants, just look for chocolate bars with high cocoa percentages, meaning less sugar. Here are a few Florida favorite shops. Got milk?
